"We are using a 'cell phone' waiting room. When a patient arrives, they call our front desk. Then we text or call them when their exam room is ready. We are trying to stay open. All staff will not get 40 hours each week. We hope to give them some income during this period. We have consolidated days. Closing the surgery center 3 days per week and the offices 1 day per week on a rotating basis."John Britton, MDCharleston, SC  "Don’t have elderly patients wait in your waiting rooms. Have them sign in, leave their cell number and return to their car. Call them to return and take them straight to the exam rooms or procedure room." Woodrow Reeves, MD Kingsport, TN
