American Medical Systems

American Medical Systems' Apogee (shown) is a minimally invasive prolapse repair kit designed to suspend the vaginal apex at the level of ischial spine, replicating a natural vaginal axis and length. It is available in either biologic or synthetic graft material. Perigee, also from AMS, is a comprehensive anterior vaginal wall defect repair system with depth-limiting needles that prevents advancement beyond the ischial spine. The system allows for customization with either biologic or synthetic graft material.

Ureteroscope's features offer improved visualization

The URF-V Flexible Video Ureteroscope incorporates Olympus' proprietary EndoEYE technology, which places a CCD chip at the distal end of the endoscope to deliver big, bright, and consistent images. The optimized angulation allows comprehensive visualization of the kidney, according to the company. The URF-V's ergonomic design integrates the camera and light-cable to improve handling and includes four programmable buttons for frequently used functions.
