Dr. Casey Seideman on ensuring women are considered for AUA awards

Although women represent an increasing percentage of the urology workforce, they continue to be underrepresented in receiving recognition awards from the American Urological Association.

A study recently published in the Journal of Urology highlighted how women are underrepresented in receiving recognition awards from the American Urological Association (AUA). In this video, Casey Seideman, MD, a researcher on the study, discusses steps that can be taken to ensure women are considered for AUA awards. Seideman is assistant professor of Urology, School of Medicine, Oregon Health & Science University.
