“Thirteen percent of all doctors have suicidal ideation, and more than [400 physicians per year] will complete suicide. That is a tragedy of medicine,” says Diana Londoño, MD.

In this video, Diana Londoño, MD, discusses her own experience with burnout and why it is important to practice compassionate health care. Londoño is a urologic oncology surgeon and assistant clinical professor in the department of surgery at the City of Hope National Medical Center in Duarte, California.
