“In general, urologists are really happy people. They love their work, but they're not exempt from the challenges that come with any workplace, especially when you have a lot of different roles, you have a fast environment, and the stakes are high,” says Loren Jean Smith.

In this video, Loren Jean Smith, discusses the importance of addressing burnout among health care providers and how identifying stressors leads to the biggest improvements in the workplace. Smith is a fourth-year medical student at the University of South Carolina, Columbia.
