Bladder-sparing treatment shown to be efficacious, non-toxic
A combination of the chemotherapy drug gemcitabine (Gemzar) and radiation therapy appears to be efficacious and non-toxic in patients with muscle-invasive bladder cancer, according to a paper from the University of Michigan.
