The National Association For Continence (NAFC) announced Roger Dmochowski, MD, as the latest recipient of its Rodney Appell Continence Care Champion award.
The National Association For Continence (NAFC) announced Roger Dmochowski, MD, as the latest recipient of its Rodney Appell Continence Care Champion award.
Dr. Dmochowski is a professor of urology at Vanderbilt University, Nashville, TN, and director of female pelvic medicine and reconstructive urology fellowship. He has received a “best reviewer” commendation from both the Journal of Urology and European Urology and currently serves on eight editorial boards of clinical journals.
Dr. Dmochowski also serves on 10 boards and professional society committees, including AUA and the International Continence Society. He was a member of NAFC’s Board of Directors for 5 years.
“This year’s award, like all those before it, recognizes the contributions of an individual who sets the bar for others in the continence care field in research, education, and advances in clinical practice,” said Meg Hansen of NAFC.
