Monica Liebert, PhD, recently resigned from her post as director ofthe AUA Office of Research. Dr. Liebert, who served AUA in thiscapacity since 2001, has accepted a research position at theUniversity of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

Monica Liebert, PhD, recently resigned from her post as director of the AUA Office of Research. Dr. Liebert, who served AUA in this capacity since 2001, has accepted a research position at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.

"Monica Liebert has decided to return to her first love, which is research," said Lawrence S. Ross, MD, incoming AUA president. "Monica's been a real strength at the AUA, and she's really helped us on our research issues and on our work with the federal government, including the NIDDK and NIH.

"We're confident that, with her help, we're going to find a good replacement."
