Hao G. Nguyen MD, PhD, describes the near-infrared, PSMA-targeting fluorophore IS-002, and discusses the background and findings from a phase 1 study of the agent that he presented at the 2022 AUA Annual Meeting. Results of the study showed that IS-002 enabled enhanced intraoperative tumor detection during robotic prostatectomy, according to Nguyen.

Nguyen is associate professor in residence, Urologic Oncology, Richard and Leilani Grinold Endowed professorship in Urology Education, University of California San Francisco.
