Dr. Robert J. Hamilton on statin use in men starting ADT for prostate cancer

Hamilton discusses findings from a recent study published in European Urology.

“The patients who use statins had longer overall survival, longer prostate cancer-specific survival, and a trend towards longer time before they became castration resistant,” Robert J. Hamilton, MD, MPH, says in this podcast. Hamilton is an associate professor of urology at the University of Toronto.
