EMR maker offers urologists 'doc fix' discount on product

In response to the looming reduction in Medicare reimbursement slated to begin Dec. 1, meridianEMR is offering a special "meridianEMR Doc Fix," which includes a 21.9% reduction on all new meridianEMR system orders beginning Nov. 10, 2010 and ending Dec. 31, 2010.

In response to the looming reduction in Medicare reimbursement slated to begin Dec. 1, meridianEMR is offering a special "meridianEMR Doc Fix," which includes a 21.9% reduction on all new meridianEMR system orders beginning Nov. 10, 2010 and ending Dec. 31, 2010.

If the government does not rescind the "Doc Fix" of 21.9%, the company said its offer still stands.

"We encourage our potential new clients to move forward with confidence that they will be receiving the market-leading Urology EHR at the most affordable price ever offered by meridianEMR," said Lawrence Drappi, of meridianEMR. "This is our way of standing by their side in a challenging economic environment."
