Medical Faculty Associates at the George Washington University has named Thomas Jarrett, MD, as the new chair of its department of urology.

Medical Faculty Associates at the George Washington University has named Thomas Jarrett, MD, as the new chair of its department of urology. Dr. Jarrett returns to Washington, DC-based George Washington after spending the past 9 years at The Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, most recently as associate professor of urology and the chief of endourology at The Johns Hopkins Hospital.

Dr. Jarrett formerly was assistant professor of urology at George Washington. He received his medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta, where he also completed his residency in general surgery. He completed his urology residency at The New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center and Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, both in New York.
