UrologyMatch.com, an Internet resource and online community designed to assist medical students, educators, and professionals in all aspects of studying and practicing urology, has launched an application to give users quick and easy access to the most commonly utilized areas of UrologyMatch.com.

The free download enables users to take advantage of the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch interface.

Highlights of the application include:

  • complete access to the UrologyMatch discussion board with easy-to-use functionality for adding comments
  • comprehensive video library of urologic procedures, with the ability to comment on individual videos
  • regularly updated urologic journal highlights, with access to the abstract and links to full text.

"UrologyMatch users now have the ability to engage the urologic community anywhere, anytime," said UrologyMatch co-founder Alexander Kutikov, MD. "The UrologyMatch app optimizes the heavily used discussion board, videos, and urology news feeds for mobile use. It is fully integrated with the main site, so comments on the discussion board and videos are also visible via the web site."
