New male sling designed to help prostate cancer survivors maintain continence
American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. added the AdVance Male Sling to its line of male continence products.

American Medical Systems Holdings, Inc. added the AdVance Male Sling to its line of male continence products.
The sling can be attached in a minimally invasive outpatient procedure in men with mild incontinence, many of whom have survived prostate cancer but whose urinary sphincters were damaged during surgery for cancer treatment.
The company said AdVance will be available worldwide in the fourth quarter of 2006.
