FDA approves generic levofloxacin tablets Jerusalem, Israel-The FDA has granted final approval for Teva Pharmaceutical's generic levofloxacin tablets, 750 mg. Teva said it also expects to receive final approval for levofloxacin tablets in 250-mg and 500-mg strengths.
Levofloxacin is a quinolone antibiotic indicated for the treatment of complicated and uncomplicated urinary tract infection, acute pyelonephritis, and chronic bacterial prostatitis.

Patient fact sheets now available on the web Pitman, NJ-The Society of Urologic Nurses and Associates has put its educational fact sheets online for free download. The nine fact sheets were previously available only to member urologic health care providers but now can be accessed by anyone.
