Texas firm acquires interest in Pennsylvania lithotripsy partnership

HealthTronics, Inc., an Austin, TX-based provider of services and products for the urology community, has entered into a definitive agreement for the purchase of a 35% interest in Keystone Mobile Partners, LP, Willow Grove, PA.

HealthTronics, Inc., an Austin, TX-based provider of services and products for the urology community, has entered into a definitive agreement for the purchase of a 35% interest in Keystone Mobile Partners, LP, Willow Grove, PA.

Keystone is the dominant provider of lithotripsy services to the Greater Philadelphia and eastern Pennsylvania areas. Owned by urologists, the partnership performed more than 2,500 procedures and generated more than $7 million in revenue in 2006.

The acquisition adds more than 90 urologists to HealthTronics’ network of over 2,500 physicians nationwide. The deal is expected to close by May 2007.
