Urologists appointed to top positions
Urologist Terry Mason, MD, has been named commissioner of the Department of Public Health for the city of Chicago.

Urologist Terry Mason, MD, has been named commissioner of the Department of Public Health for the city of Chicago. Dr. Mason is chief of urology at Mercy Hospital and Medical Center and an assistant professor of surgery at the University of Illinois at Chicago’s College of Medicine, and is on the faculty of the UIC School of Public Health.
Separately, John Bertini, MD, has been named chief of staff at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital in Houston. Dr. Bertini is a clinical associate professor of urology at The University of Texas Medical School and serves as academic chief of urology at CHRISTUS St. Joseph Hospital.
