Urology trainees carry high levels of debt

American Urological Association Annual Census data indicate that more than 60% of urology trainees carry at least $150,000 worth of debt.

In this interview, Andrew M. Harris, MD, discusses the Urology Practice study, “Impact of urology trainee debt levels on future practice choices and expectations,” for which he served as a study author. Harris is an assistant professor of urology at the University of Kentucky, Lexington.
