Famed basketball coach tours nation to get word out on BPH
The Prostate Cancer Education Council, a nonprofit consortium of expert physicians, health educators, scientists, and prostate health advocates, is teaming with former Detroit Pistons basketball coach Chuck Daly to spread the word on prostate health issues. BPH Game Plan Starts with U, the culmination of their efforts, is a recently launched national initiative to promote screenings and to raise awareness of BPH.

BPH Game Plan Starts with U, the culmination of their efforts, is a recently launched national initiative to promote screenings and to raise awareness of BPH.
As part of the BPH Game Plan Starts with U initiative, Daly, who has had BPH for more than 20 years, will travel nationwide to recount his BPH experience and urge men to get evaluated.
"As a coach, I face problems head on. So when I was diagnosed with BPH, I made a game plan with my doctor," Daly said. "I hope that sharing my experiences can help other men to understand that BPH is a common condition and encourage them to work with their doctors to create a game plan of their own."
