In the following video, Toni K. Choueiri, MD, discusses the background and key findings from the phase 3 LITESPARK-022 trial (NCT05239728), which explored the use of adjuvant pembrolizumab (Keytruda) plus belzutifan (Welireg) vs pembrolizumab monotherapy for clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC).1 These results were presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Genitourinary Cancers Symposium in San Francisco, California.

Choueiri is the director of the Lank Center for Genitourinary Oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, co-leader of the Kidney Cancer Program at Dana-Farber/Harvard Cancer Center, and the Jerome and Nancy Kohlberg Chair and Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts.
