“It is possible to conserve fluid when we're trying to do these procedures without compromising patient care," says Roshan M. Patel, MD.

“While I would hesitate to say that reversal is truly better in terms of efficacy, I think this data suggests that it's at least as good,” says Scott D. Lundy, MD, PhD, HCLD.

“While sperm cryopreservation is very safe, there might be hidden costs that patients aren't aware of, both [in] the upfront costs of preserving the sperm and then the annual cost of maintaining it at a facility,” says Bradley Roth, MS4.

"The idea here is to determine, from an epidemiologic perspective, whether freezing sperm for many men before their vasectomy is cost-effective compared to whether we should simply avoid this routine practice and allow men to proceed with their vasectomy and then restore their fertility in the future," says Scott D. "We found that with a 5-year Kaplan-Meier survival analysis that patients with varicocele had worse outcomes than patients without varicocele," says Muhammed A. Moukhtar Hammad, MBBCh.

"What's important here is that there's an increased public interest in this vaginal estrogen therapy," says Elia Abou Chawareb, MD.

"We wanted to see if medical recommendations for vaginal estrogen for postmenopausal women for symptom correction have a correlation with rising interest [among patients]," says Elia Abou Chawareb, MD.

"We wanted to explore the outcomes, the compliance rates, [and] the complications with regards to Xiaflex," says Muhammed A. Moukhtar Hammad, MBBCh.

The study showed significant reductions in both anxiety and depressive symptoms following the intervention.

"What we found is that it's very difficult to raise your review on these websites, but fairly easy to drop your review," says Jake Miller, MD.

"This is quite reassuring to show that there's no statistically significant influence of BMI in actual complications," says Muhammed A. Moukhtar Hammad, MBBCh.

"We found actually that patients who underpredict their curve during the initial visit, prior to having a formal measurement of their penile curvature, actually ended up having a higher satisfaction following treatment," says Jake Miller, MD.

"We wanted to study if Dupuytren's contracture has any effect at all in Xiaflex treatment," says Muhammed A. Moukhtar Hammad, MBBCh.

At 1 month, the mean decrease in the OAB-Q symptom severity subscale score was -31.2 in the 1-injection cohort vs -39.5 in the 10-injection cohort.

Following use of MED3000, the investigators reported significant improvements in all 5 SEP questions in both patients and partners over the course of the 12 weeks.

"If we want to do a targeted therapy, we have to know exactly where and what we are treating," says Gamal M. Ghoniem, MD, FACS, ABU/FPMRS.

"My goal in the trip was not to see how many patients I could operate on, how many doctors I could train, [it was] to help 1 person train," says Joel Gelman, MD.
